This Sucks

I feel like a zombie.  I'm frozen in a state of depression that I thought I had left behind me.  What's weird is, it has nothing to do with my own life.  Just yesterday I learned some terrible news. 

Please Just Do Your Damn Job

Let me just start by saying that I love the secretary at my office, but today she made me want to jab pencils into my eye sockets.  She's a sweet lady, but she sometimes she isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. 

Anticipation

If you read my quick rant from yesterday you know that my mom wants to go Christmas shopping with me for the wee one.  It has just been confirmed that, after much back and forth and typical (for us) mom/daughter bickering, we are going to today.  So I'm just warning you that I'll probably be back on here tonight with more frustrating rants to share.  You should be on pins and needles waiting :)

Why's the Label Important?

I had friends over last night to hang out and play cards.  My best friend, her boyfriend (might as well be her husband), her kids, her daughter's boyfriend and the guy that ....well, I don't know what he is, but I like him.  We ate pizza, played cards and drank beer while the kids all played.  It was such a nice relaxing night.  I'm really starting to have to fight the feeling I have for this guy (Let's call him George).

Quick Rant

I just need a minute to vent.  So I called my mom today to ask her a quick question and she mentions that she wants me to come shopping with her sometime to get Christmas presents for my daughter.  I told her that was fine and asked her when she wanted to go.  She told me that she is free anytime today.  I told her that I couldn't do it today, but I could tomorrow or just about any afternoon this week.  She is busy tomorrow so I suggested Thursday.

Prince Charming need not apply....I want a cowboy.

Yeah, that's right....one of those right there.  I would rather ride in a F350 Diesel truck than a sports car and well worn wranglers and I REAL cowboy hat will about drop me to my knees.

Hello!  This isn't my first blog, but I am starting from scratch on this one.  On my past blog I used my real name, real pics, ect.  I thought that would be the way to go, but I found myself constantly stressing that someone in my "real" life would find me here and learn WAY too much about me.  My writing was stifled and I didn't enjoy it.  So here I am, anonymous, yet probably more honest than I am in my real life.
